Christina Fayle and Arlene
Steeves |
|
Advance
Savings staff members, Christina Fayle (Riverview) and
Arlene Steeves (Salisbury), recently received their Member
Service Representative Accreditation through CUSource. This
unique accreditation is a nationally recognized designation
and involves a very intensive program that covers all
aspects of the Credit Union, and in particular the Member
Service Representative’s position.
Additionally
they both took the Supervisor’s Orientation to this program
and are fully trained and prepared to coach Advance Savings’
Customer Service Representatives through this process.
Beginning in the fall of 2008, Advance Saving's goal is to
have all Customer Service Representatives working toward
obtaining this accreditation.
It’s just
another way we’re working to serve you better!
Congratulations Christina and Arlene!

Meet Christa
Sceles. After
attending Saint Mary’s University, Christa spent nine years
working in loans and mortgages at other financial
institutions. In May 2008, she joined the Advance Savings
staff as the branch manager in Riverview.
With a
successful financial career already behind her, Christa’s
desire in her new role at Advance Savings is to help the
Riverview branch take the next step in growth and to exceed
their branch goals for year end. "But more importantly,"
says Christa, "I want to personally meet every owner that
walks through the door and ensure they feel comfortable to
come to me for all their financial needs."
Christa, her
husband Dave, and their nine year old son, Devin, live in
Moncton. In her spare time she is very involved in her son’s
extra-curricular activities, including volunteering as
manager for his fall and spring hockey teams. As a family,
they enjoy walking and biking on the trails in Mapleton
Park.

Who are you
riding with?
Advance Savings, along with
other Moncton Credit Unions, recently joined together to
support the Typically Canadian Group; a team of
inspirational young men who biked across Canada in order to
pay tribute to people who have battled or are currently
battling cancer. Representatives from the three Credit
Unions presented the team with a cheque for $750. All
proceeds went directly to the Canadian Cancer Society.
