Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What can I expect once the Advance Savings Credit Union Customer Service Representative calls me?
A. The Customer Service Representative will identify himself/herself, verify your information, and will walk you through the process of gathering your pre-authorized payment information.

Q. How long will the telephone appointment take?
A. The appointment should take no longer than 10 minutes of your time, depending on the number of automated bill payments you have.

Q. What happens after the telephone appointment?
A. Within five business days of your telephone appointment, you will be mailed details of your payment changes and a payroll change form.

Q. How long will it take for my pre-authorized payments to be transferred to my Advance Savings Credit Union account?
A. It depends on the billing companies - usually about four to six weeks.

Q. In order to cover my pre-authorized payments, I want to start making deposits to my Advance Savings Credit Union account. What should I do?
A. Wait until you receive the details of your payment changes from us. This will indicate when to start making deposits to your Advance Savings Credit Union account.

Q. Can I notify the billing companies myself?
A. To avoid confusion, we ask that you let us look after contacting the companies on your behalf. It's faster and easier for you, and it will ensure that all your pre-authorized payments are moved in a well-organized manner.

Q. What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
A. Please call us at 1-506-384-1880 to reschedule.
